The Government of Taiwan has donated 45 wheelchairs and 20 crutches to the Papua New Guinea (PNG) Health Department for people living with disabilities. The items will assist people who can not walk at the various health centres in Port Moresby. Speaking at the occasion recently, Taipei Economic and Cultural Office in PNG, Oliver Liao, says the donation was made possible by two charity foundations and facilitated by Taiwan's Foreign Ministry. The items donated are aligned to the National Health Plan 2021 - 2030 to increase access to health for people living with disabilities.
