THE Brian Bell Foundation donated two industrial laundry machines and a drier costing K230,000 to the Sir Joseph Nombri Kundiawa General Hospital last week. Simbu health authority chief executive officer Dr Francis Wandi and SiPHA board members, who were present to receive the machines, described them as a perfect and timely Christmas gift. Dr Wandi thanked Brian Bell for the donation through the foundation. “It is through the contributions and support of our board chairman Robert Nilkare that the foundation made it possible for the hospital to receive the machines,” he said.
He also thanked the laundry staff at the hospital for bearing with the huge burden of washing and drying beddings and other clothes used by patients and staff. “I also thank the Goroka-based Arabica Coffee Company and manager Nicky Ben for transporting the machines free-of-charge,” Dr Wandi said. Simbu health authority board member Pastor Tom Wii thanked the foundation and Nilkare for the donation. Next : 31 NEW COVID-19 CASES REPORTED IN PNG Comments are closed.
