The St Johns Ambulance Service has signed an agreement with the Department of Health to roll out across the country. St Johns National Council Chairlady, Madam Jean Kekedo, signed the Memorandum of Agreement with Health Minister, Elias Kapavore recently allowing this to happen. The agreement is to operate ambulance services for the next ten years. There's already a further agreement with the East New Britain and Morobe provinces for the ambulance service to start operating in these two provinces. St Johns says it aims to sign complementing agreements with a further three provinces each year. Speaking as guest speaker at the St Johns fundraiser dinner over the weekend prime minister James Marape pledged K10m for the ambulance service for its operations for this year.
