Minister for Health Michael Malabag commended the National Government for increasing funding for Christian Health Services commencing 2014.
In a press release, Minister Malabag said the O’Neill-Dion Government saw the commitment of Christian Health workers and has decided to increase level of funding from 94 million kina to 134 million.
This was through the reconciliation of Christian health Services, staffing and facility exercise to strengthen the Government’s Public Private Partnership policy.
The increased funding will ensure all unfunded church health facilities will be catered to efficiently and effectively roll-out services.
Meanwhile, all Christian health workers will be paid through a Centralized Computer Payroll system comes 2014. EMTV
