No Fear, COVID - 19 Vaccines are safe

THERE is no need for people to fear the Covid-19 vaccine as it is similar to other vaccines people get in the country, a doctor says. Dr Garry Nou from Covid-19 National Control Center told the media personnel who attended a session to clarify rumors and doubts about the AstraZeneca vaccine on social media. 

“The vaccine is not new, we do immunisation to ourselves to the kids and even just being exposed to certain viruses during a life time will also do the same thing,” Dr Nou said. He said those who received the vaccine would have a reaction as the body got used to it. He said people would experience fever, aches and pains after taking the vaccine but these symptoms were mild and quickly clear up.
