Medicine Supplies for the earthquake-affected areas were flown in last week, says Health Secretary Pascoe Kase.
Kase made the statement in response to questions over the shortage of medicines in Southern Highlands.
He said that both the 100 per cent medical kit supplies for rural health centres and aid posts and pharmaceutical supplies for hospitals were flown in courtesy of the Australian Defence Force.
“The medicines airlifted from Lae are the 100 per cent medical kit supplies and the ones from the Badili Medical Store is the medicine and pharmaceutical supplies for hospitals,” he said.
