National Pandemic Response deputy controller Dr Daoni Esorom said Morobe had a new case and the National Capital District had three.
He said 114,705 tests were conducted in NCD from Jan 16, last year to Dec 14.
Out of the tests conducted within that period, 9,311 tested positive which included three new ones recently bringing total positive cases to 9,314 in NCD.
The report stated that Morobe conducted 13,328 tests in the same period and had recorded 2,491 positive cases, including a new case recently – bringing the provincial total to 2,492.
He said the country’s total deaths known as of Tuesday, were 585, total recovered 35,162, no new deaths and 627 Delta variant cases.
“From the reports, the epidemic curve is going down,” he said.
