The Papua New Guinea Christian Leaders Alliance has set a platform to fight against the spread of HIV/AIDS.
Alliance deputy chairman Pastor Daniel Hewali said in Jiwaka Province this week.
Pr Hewali accompanied Alliance chairman Cardinal Sir John Ribat to officially open the new social concern centre for the Highlands on Monday this week.
He said the spread of HIV/AIDS was not giving chances to anyone and it was good to see all the different denomination heads come together to talk about the killer disease and hot to carryout awareness into the remote areas.
Pr Hewali said it was good to see the churches taking ownership and shoulder the burden to fight against the spread of HIV/AIDS.
He said for the churches come together and joining hands together shows that they have concern, because they found that it was very important initiative for them to spearhead.
