The Paradise Foods has a Job Position Vacancy - Nurse 

We have a vacancy for an enthusiastic and motivated (Nurse) who will be based in (Lae) and reporting to the (OHS Coordinator).

The Role: (Job responsibilities)

• Manage Company clinic on daily basis and attend to sick employees
• Attend to emergencies as required
• Refer patients requiring further medical attention and provide feedback (reports)
• Conduct pre-employment medical checks
• Ensure adequate medications are available
• Maintain employee medical histories
• Report on the number of lost time injuries (LTI), incidents and accidents
• Compile monthly statistics for lost time injuries (LTI), incidents and accidents for to Management
• Medical support for Covid-19 workplace policy implementation
• Conduct monthly medical awareness talks on themes & schedules planned with the Safety & HR team

About You: (Job requirements)

• Nursing degree preferred and/or equivalent workplace experience
• Exposure to manufacturing environment, preference given to experience in biscuit or FMCG manufacture.
• Ability to work independently and demonstrate a high level of self-motivation.
• Excellent communication and numeracy skills
• Must be fully vaccinated from the Corona Virus
