During the initial two years, students in the Diploma Program undergo training in both urban and rural health clinics. In the final year, they transition to Rural Health Centers or Hospitals situated within the MOMASE and Highlands region. Midwifery students engage in clinical practice in hospitals and rural health facilities to gain comprehensive exposure to diverse healthcare settings.<br /><br />The academic calendar consists of two semesters for the Diploma of General Nursing Program and three trimesters for the Bachelor Midwifery Program. The first semester commences in January and concludes in June, followed by the second semester from July to November. Community Health Worker (CHW) applicants can qualify with "C" grades in English, mathematics, and science from year 10.
