Nursing scholars and&nbsp;graduates contribute to quality health outcomes across PNG&nbsp;including in rural and remote communities.<br />Important: Please read all information carefully&nbsp;before completing your application.<br />This application form is for study in PNG only (not Australia).&nbsp;You must complete your application in English.<br />The scholarship is available for study at:<ul><li>Lae School of Nursing</li><li>Lutheran School of Nursing</li></ul><strong>Eligibility requirements</strong><br />You must meet the following requirements to be<br />considered for a scholarship.<ul><li>&bull; be a non-school leaver (i.e. not be applying directly after completing secondary school)</li><li>&bull; be a citizen of PNG and residing in PNG at the&nbsp;time ofapplication</li><li>&bull; not have been convicted of a criminaloffence</li><li>&bull; not have been terminated from a previous&nbsp;Australia Awards scholarship for misconduct.</li><li>&bull; completed Grade 12 with a minimum GPA 2.75 and a&nbsp;minimum grade B in Biology and Chemistry and&nbsp; Language &amp;Literature and C in Advance Math or A in&nbsp;General Math</li><li>&bull; OR matriculation upgrade (DODL/FODE) minimum GPA&nbsp;3.0 and minimum subject grades as above</li><li>&bull; meet the additional conditions of entry&nbsp; for the institution of your choice</li></ul>(Note: UPNG CTCS six-month upgrade is not accepted<br />by either School of Nursing)</div> <hr style="width:100%;clear:both;visibility:hidden;"></hr>  <div>  <!--BLOG_SUMMARY_END--></div>  <div class="paragraph">Required supporting documents<br />You must submit the following documents with your<br />application:<ul><li>&bull; One recent passport size ID photo with your name and&nbsp; signature on the back of the photo (scanned/electronic&nbsp; copy is acceptable)</li><li>&bull; Certified copy of your Grade 12 Higher School&nbsp;Certificate/DODL/FODE Transcript</li><li>&bull; Certified copy of your most recent academic&nbsp;certificate (DODL/CODE studies after Grade 12) (if&nbsp;applicable)</li><li>&bull; Certified copy of your most recent academic&nbsp;transcript/s</li><li>&bull; Certified copy of one of the following: your passport</li><li>bio page or NID card or birth certificate or photo ID&nbsp;such as driver license, school ID card or staff ID&nbsp;card</li><li>&bull; A letter of reference from a community leader (e.g.&nbsp;school principal, pastor, village chief or employer).&nbsp;Successful applications&nbsp; If you are offered a scholarship, you will need to:</li><li>&bull; sign a contract and be bound by the scholarship!&nbsp;conditions</li><li>&bull; be accepted for full-time into study at the institution!</li><li>identified in your scholarship offer for the duration of the!&nbsp;award</li><li>&bull; if necessary, live on-campus unaccompanied (no!&nbsp;family)</li><li>&bull; meet all other conditions of a scholarship !award.</li></ul><strong>Fraudulent documents and false statements</strong><br />The Australian Government takes a zero-tolerance&nbsp; approach to fraud.
